The Cove Townhomes

Nestled on a wooded slope overlooking beautiful Lake George in the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate NY, this nineteen-unit townhouse project was conceived in a mountain modern vernacular.  The layouts were a challenge because each unit had to orient to both the front and rear to secure the lake views.  RBA created a series of stacked narrow boxes incorporating maximum glass openings and recessed balconies to address privacy between residences. This vertical living is connected on all levels by striking and open monumental stairs.  RBA’s careful positioning of the units resulted in all living spaces having views towards the lake.
